Adding Swizznet Applications on your Start Menu for PC/Windows Users

Have you ever wanted to launch your Swizznet applications from your start menu without having to login via the web portal? With the Citrix Receiver you can now set it up to add icons to your Swizznet applications right in your start menu.

Follow these simple steps to add them:

  1. After you have installed the Citrix Receiver, launch the Citrix Receiver application.
  2. The receiver will prompt you for a work email or server address.  Please enter apps.swizznet.com
  3. Next you will be prompted for your username and password. Go ahead and enter your Swizznet username and password here.
  4. Once you have logged in to the receiver you will come to this screen:
  5. Select the Apps tab at the top and what you will see is a list of your hosted applications. Any application necessary to you and your work are going to be moved to the Favorites tab.
  6. To do this, choose an application and hit "Details" beside it and then "Add to Favorites", pictured below.
  7. This will not only move the applications to the Favorites tab within the receiver but also pin them to your Start menu in Windows or within the Launchpad for Mac
  8. To put the shortcut on your desktop simply right click on the application in your start Menu and then go to More>Open File Location or simply drag to the dock on a Mac
  9. In the next window that opens, copy the shortcut and then paste it on your desktop.
