How to share files
1) To share a file you can do so by doing one of the following.
- Hover over the file that you want to share, click on the share icon
- Click on the file you want to share, on the right pane select share
- Right click on the file you want to share, on the drop down menu select share
2) Once you have clicked share the following dialogue box will open.
3) From the dialogue box above you can select to invite user to share or clicking on the enable public link.
4) Enable public link, this will create a link to the file which you can copy and email to anyone. Once the person receives the link they will be able to download the file to their computer.
5) Invite user to share, this will be used to create a user that will be allowed to log onto the system an view and/or edit the file depending on the privileges you provide.
How to share folders
1) To share a folder you can do so by doing one of the following.
- Hover over the file that you want to share, click on the share icon
- Right click on the file you want to share, on the drop down menu select share
2) Once you have clicked on share the following dialogue window will open
3) On this dialogue window you will enter the email address to the individual you want to provide access to. You can also write a note to the individual. When done click Continue.
4) On this dialogue window you will select to continue as it is now, which will only allow read access to the folder. You may want to also choose add user and provide other permissions instead.
5) If you have selected Add user as a guest, on this dialogue window you will specify to generate a password and to have the user change password when they log on
6) On this dialogue window you will specify the expiration time for the share folder, you will also assign the privilege to the folder. Once you done selecting click Share
