In the company file, if you use Common Tasks -> File Tools you can run a manual backup that will backup all of the data in a .zip file. Unfortunately, this cannot be automated through Sage. Typically if we have to restore Sage 300 CRE 16.X data, we would do it through a server snapshot.
1. Log into Sage Desktop -> Common Tasks -> File Tools and select Backup.
2. Select the Folders containing your company data.
3. Select the Destination for the backup to be stored at. Make sure this is under your 'data' folder, in our case c:\data\companycode\Sage Backup
4. Name the backup, in archive name and then run the backup.
