Resolved: Windows 10 & RemoteApp Known Issue Build 1803

As of 7/15/2018: This was resolved in the newest release of build 1803 for Windows 10. There was also a server side patch, which has been approved and deployed. If you are on June/July cumulative release, you should not experience any issues.

Microsoft has identified an issue with their latest build of Windows 10, build 1803, that is impacting Microsoft RemoteApp. The issue impacts ‘context’ menus and causes the drop-down lists to open behind the RemoteApp making them seem invisible. For example, the “File” drop down in an application, when clicked, will appear as if it was clicked, but it does not show within the RemoteApp.

If you have already upgraded to build 1803, the workaround is to use the full Cloud Workspace desktop instead of RemoteApp.

If you have not upgraded, we recommend staying on Windows 10, build 1709, until Microsoft resolves this issue.

To check which build you are on, you can tap the Windows key, type “winver” into the Start menu, and press Enter. You could also press Windows Key + R, type “winver” into the Run dialog, and press Enter.
