Initializing ConnectWise Control on macOS 12.6 and earlier

Note: These instructions are for end users running macOS 10.15 through 12.6. For steps to set up ConnectWise utility on macOS Ventura (13.x), click here.

1. Go to swizznet.screenconnect.com and enter the code and launch the ConnectWise app:

2. Click Allow when prompted:

3. Open the ConnectWiseControl.zip file either top right or bottom left (Edge and Chrome users can also press Ctrl+J to view their recent downloads):

4. Click Open System Preferences:

5. Allow Screen recording from here: 

1. Click Screen Recording
2. Unlock to make change (users will be prompted to enter their mac username and password)
3. Check the box next to ConnectWise

6. Click Later:

7. Do the same for Accessibility:

(if ConnectWise is not an option click the plus icon and proceed to the next step)

8. After clicking the plus button follow these steps:

1. Select Applications on the left
2. Search for "connect" in the top right
3. Select ConnectWise control app and hit "open" in the bottom right
