Qvinci Bulk Sync

Requirements:

Qvinci requires a private server because the Qvinci Sync App needs to be installed on the same server as Quickbooks. This is so the Qvinci Sync App can login to each QB file and sync.

Depending on the client and number of QuickBooks files to bulk sync, the Qvinci Sync App may be installed on a single server or there may be multiple servers setup with the Qvinci Sync App, QuickBooks, and the QuickBooks files.

Qvinci has the ability to process multiple syncs simultaneously. Clients that have a lot of QB files may have multiple Qvinci servers, with X number of QB files so we can process the Bulk Sync faster for clients.

Setup:

The Qvinci Sync app is integrated into the QB file like any other integrated app.

Click this link and scroll to the bottom of the page and select Download Sync App: Qvinci Sync app

Select link and sync now

mceclip13.png

I have been using "This file is a single location" but it will depend on the client setup

mceclip17.png

mceclip14.pngOnce you see this screen the sync is complete

mceclip15.pngSelect the Link tab to verify the new QB file has been added to that location

mceclip16.png

Once you have linked all of the QB files for this server > Log out of the QB file > Verify there are not QB processes running on the server. (QB can't be running on the server or it will fail) > Open task manager and verify there are no QB processes running

Select Bulk Sync > Sync > Qvinci will start syncing one location at a time

mceclip18.png

Qvinci will connect to each file via the Qvinci QB user and start the sync > Select Show Details

mceclip21.png

As you can see here, the other 6 locations/files are not located on this server so it can't process those locations. Once it finds a location/file that is on this server, it starts to process the sync to that location/file.

The sync has started processing

mceclip22.png

Once the Sync is completed on one location/file, it moves to the next location/file, connects to the file

Processing the next location/file

mceclip24.png

Once all locations/files have been synced, you will see this
