Sage Backup Strategies

This document will cover the best practices for ensuring your customers Sage data is properly backed up. After working with the Sage Engineering team, and doing our internal restore testing, we have found that the best methods of restoring Sage 100/300 CRE data are to utilize the actual Sage backup files or full system snapshot, rather than SQL database recoveries/file recoveries. Below is a list of KBS for commonly used Sage products in our environment, and the appropriate backup methods for data.
